The core principle of this effort is to provide a safe space for support. We may share resources, information, and understanding. Remember we are intended to provide support, NOT therapy (e.g., similar to mutual support spaces, NOT GROUP THERAPY). Please:

Please wear your DE BEST vest, bring ID AND have a digital (or paper) copy of the actual deployment email when reporting for your shift.
YOUR DEPLOYMENT NOTIFICATIONS AND REPORTING
Once you have signed up for this opportunity, your profile will be reviewed for accuracy and qualifications. You will be contacted if your profile does not reflect the proper trainings. If you feel the need for more direction, contact the Program Manager at 302.383.3130 immediately for more details about your role.
You will be emailed once your shift has been approved.A reminder email will be sent the day before your deployment.
CHECK IN and CHECK OUT through this page on portal or use CauseConnect (Mobile application that is free to download). Be sure toi follow through until confirmed as IMPORTANT information about your activity is requested when you clock out.
IMPORTANT FAQs AND OTHER INFORMATION
DO NOT self-deploy. If you are unsure of your authorization to deploy, please call the Opportunity Contact or a DE BEST Representative. Keep in mind that NO deployment is authorized unless there is both a signed Waiver, a signed Acknowledgement of Code of Conduct on the volunteer’s SERVDE’s profile, AND all of the required training/s for the role (see below). While all of these are captured here on our portal, we will audit your SERVDE profile under "Trainings" to confirm that all of these have been recorded there as well.
