DE BEST has the opportunity to distribute resource materials at this upcoming Delaware Futures Community Health Fair, located in Smyrna. This will also be a great opportunity to network and recruit new DE BEST Volunteers!

DETAILS
Delaware Futures will be hosting their Community Health Fair on August 3, 2024. Similar to other fairs, DE BEST will be providing our resources at a table, as well as Hopeline Resources to the Smryna Community. Please be prepared to stand at a table to distribute/ network for 5 hours. Only two volunteers are needed for this opportunity.
Volunteers who sign up for this Community Resource Fair MUST have completed their required trainings and documents through DE TRAIN. The list of trainings can always be found on DPH/EMSPS RespondDE website here (the first table contains required trainings and documents for ALL volunteers). We will verify that you have successfully completed all requirements prior to authorizing your participation in an Opportunity.
If you have not completed all of the required documents and trainings, we will contact you directly to let you know what needs to be completed before you are eligible. If you receive the confirmation message with address and don't hear anything else from the team, you are good to go!
ROLE
Our main function is to spread the word about DE BEST, share volunteer opportunities and distribute mental health resources. This event is not intended for the provision of PFA. However, DE BEST Volunteers must always be prepared to provide PFA to community members, other volunteers and partners at any time.
AFTER YOU SIGN UP
Once you have signed up for this opportunity, your profile will be reviewed for accuracy. You will be contacted if your profile does not reflect the proper trainings. If you feel the need for more direction, it is your responsibility to contact the Program Manager at 302.383.3130 immediately for more details about your role.
YOUR DEPLOYMENT NOTIFICATIONS AND REPORTING
You will be emailed once your shift has been approved.
A reminder email will be sent the day before your deployment.
A final reminder email will be sent to you at 6:00 AM on the morning of your deployment.
NOTE: Remember to clock in/out for your shift using the link sent to email morning of shift.

NO deployment is authorized unless there is a digitally signed Code of Conduct and Photo Release Acknowledgement on your SERVDE.org profile, AND all training/s required for the role (see below, if applicable).
