Mark your calendars now everyone!
December 13th from 6:30pm-8pm we will meet via Zoom for an informative presentation of:
"Psychological First Aid (PFA) and the Workplace"
This timely training will be facilitated by our very own DE BEST Committee Chair, Adele Abrams.
Positive mental health is important because it allows individuals to cope with challenges, even good
ones, and setbacks in their lives, both at work and at home. Further, positivity benefits groups - allowing them to remain agile with changing roles and responsibilities and throughout challenging times.
Psychological First Aid is integral to Crisis Management
This subject matter has been a concern throughout our community, and volunteers specifically requested that we focus a training around it. Adele is renowned for workplace safety education, traveling country-wide to present such content. She gladly volunteered her time to develop and present this training for us, and we hope that you will take the time to "tune in" to learn more December 13th.
NOTES:
As with all of our events and opportunities, low sign ups may result in postponement or cancellation. Please be sure to sign up for this opportunity today. This will also ensure that you receive any updates.
