Volunteer at the Wilmington Police Department Community Resource Fair – June 12
Join DE BEST in New Castle to help us share essential mental health, preparedness, and HopeLine resources with local residents — and connect them with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Your Role as a Volunteer
- Staff a DE BEST resource table during your assigned shift
- Distribute print materials and preparedness/mental health resources
- Talk with community members about DE BEST programs and volunteerism
- Help spread awareness and build local connections
Familiarize yourself with resources ahead of time using our Volunteer Resource Summary.
Volunteer Requirements
To participate, you must:
- Complete required trainings and submit documents via DETRAIN.org
- You must digitally sign your Code of Conduct and Photo Release Waiver
- Upload all certificates to your SERVDE.org profile
- Be confirmed as eligible by DE BEST staff before the event

After You Sign Up
- Your profile will be reviewed for training and document completion
- Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with logistics
- A reminder email will be sent the morning of the event
