Volunteer at the Wilmington Police Department Community Resource Fair – June 12
Join DE BEST in New Castle to help us share essential mental health, preparedness, and HopeLine resources with local residents — and connect them with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Your Role as a Volunteer
- Staff a DE BEST resource table during your assigned shift
- Distribute print materials and preparedness/mental health resources
- Talk with community members about DE BEST programs and volunteerism
- Help spread awareness and build local connections
Note: Psychological First Aid is not expected during this event, but volunteers should be prepared to provide support to peers, partners, and attendees if needed.

Volunteer Requirements
To participate, you must:
- Complete required trainings and submit documents via DETRAIN.org
- You must digitally sign your Code of Conduct and Photo Release Waiver
- Upload all certificates to your SERVDE.org profile
- Be confirmed as eligible by DE BEST staff before the event

If anything is missing from your profile, DE BEST will contact you. If you receive the confirmation message with event details and no follow-up, you're good to go!
After You Sign Up
- Your profile will be reviewed for training and document completion
- Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with logistics
- A reminder email will be sent the morning of the event
