Are you interested in making a difference in your local communities during disasters and public health emergencies? Did you know that RespondDE MRC has a Functional Assessment Support Team, or (FAST)? FAST assists with supporting the needs of people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs (AFN). Job tasks of FAST can include:
- Assessment of unmet AFN needs
- Facilitation of reasonable accommodations
- Tracking of Assistive Technology (AT) Kit resources
- Documentation of volunteer hours and activities

If interested, please login to DE TRAIN and complete the training plan and become a part of the team. The Course ID is 6486, or you can click the following URL: https://www.train.org/detrain/training_plan/6486 . The title of the training plan should be "RespondDE FAST Training Plan." All 8 courses must be completed in order to join the team. Please let us know when you have done so we can add you to the group.
