e) Training: QPR  

QPR Training by Gatekeeper, Jennifer Smolowitz

Highlights - The QPR method was developed specifically to detect and respond to anyone emitting suicide warning signs

Jennifer broke down and discussed the three skills of QPR you can take to respond to anyone emitting suicide: Question, Persuade, Refer. This was a very interactive/brief training where volunteers were engaged in questions and topics we often don't discuss about suicide. For a copy of the recap of training: click here.
