DE BEST Quarterly Meeting for FY22/23 Q3 was held on April 12th, 2023.

We discussed our Quarterly Accomplishments, purpose, and goals going forward.  If you were unable to make the meeting and have suggestions, questions, or concerns please reach out to Celeste or Skylar. Quarterly Meeting Minutes are below.

Celeste - Reviewed summary.

Highlights -

  • Total: 333 volunteers
  • Recruitment: 11 new volunteers
  • Purged Volunteers that did not meet volunteer requirements this quarter: 2
DE BEST Volunteers Communications Portal https://debest.galaxydigital.com/user/dashboard/
  • Requirements to stay active with DE BEST:
    • Engagement/Participation of 4 hours
    • Respond to Call Down... Save email in Contacts: DEBESTvolunteers@gmail.com
Resource Distributions
  • Food Bank: 3 shifts and 26,000 hours
    • HopeLine Distributions: 3,000 materials distributed this quarter!
  • Wilmington Police Dept. Community Resource Fair: 2 volunteers and 9 hours
  • Rx Disposal Distribution: 8 volunteers and 26 hours

Celeste shared measurements for program at Quarterly Meetings - per DE BEST COMMITTEE request.

 Action Item: Identify when volunteers receive system-generated opportunity reminders.
 3) Team Development

 

Volunteer Activities Last Quarter:

    • DE BEST Annual Winter Potluck: 1/19

Required trainings completed by volunteers (to date):

  • Crisis Counseling Program Training: 78 Completions
  • PFA: 74 Completions
