| 3) Recruitment Measures   | (Skylar) Announced that the new Engagement Project began in June and signs up are needed. Reiterated that we are opening up to volunteers to receive hours. The role would be making calls to other volunteers to spark more volunteer qualification completions and community engagement opportunities. (Anthony)- Emphasized the importance of being prepared with the trainings when we do deploy and that a team can't function without being equipped with the knowledge need to function in a smooth capacity. Also an idea to increase recruitment is by bringing a buddy/friend/ or colleague to join meetings in the future. (Volunteers) Provided feedback that would be a great idea and easy way to receive volunteer hours if you are unavailable for outreach opportunities. (Anthony) Mentioned the progress we have been making so far with the Engagement Initiative, especially with the increase in training completions. | Volunteers interested in "Engagement Committee" are encouraged to email cpeart@udel.edu |
