Naloxone Education/Distribution

DE BEST volunteers that have successfully completed the Naloxone "Train the Trainer" Training. This training MAY be available prior to a volunteer response. Contact program manager for details.

Responders educate community members on how to: identify a possible opioid overdose, respond to a suspected overdose, and appropriately administer naloxone. Many times we are able to distribute free Naloxone Kits to community members (this is according to the state's availability and supply).
